Worry about T High after Kauffman. Jeff Joseph always said one game at a time. Navydawg Congrats on a remarkable turnaround season. Definitely headed in the right direction. Hats off to the Dawgs

Well said, I think NISD choose right with Coach Rich and company…

back on topic… watched some videos on Kaufman qb seems to be athletic kid. He has 2 main weapons #0 and #15 (15 seems to be a problem for teams.) o line didn’t look to big but the LT….
overall I think PNG defense bottles those 2 up and will be good, interior d line for Indians I think can have a field day Thursday night. Gotta get pressure on that qb.

Last time I checked, this is a messsge board to talk about what/ifs.  Coaches jobs are to focus game to game.  Me as a fan of high school sports, I can focus on what/ifs.  So the team and coaches can worry about Kauffman and I will enjoy looking forward to the better matchup.  🫣🫣

Your free to talk about whatever you want. My post was more about Joseph Philosophy. Not what you our anyone else says.

If Kaufman puts 8 in the box, PNG must throw.  Indians should come out throwing.   Then spread out that defense  & run down their throats.  PNG will need to score, and score some more.  Can't let Kaufman hang around at the end.

LOVE THOSE INDIANS!!!🏉

Who has actually seen Kaufman? What do they do on each side of the ball?

From a kid I know who played against and beat Kaufman this season.  His team finished 5-5 in 4A-D1.

Love a good jet sweep, they’ve got a helluva receiver #15 big man, qb does well under pressure. Defense has big linebackers, no pass rush at all, our qb had all day, gotta be able to run power pulling thre guards in the run game, pretty good against the deep ball.

Has the makings of another blowout by PNG in my opinion then.

Stadiums and time slots are booked up this time of year. Coach Joseph would of much rather played again Friday night to stay routine given the opportunity. Saturday games break the routine and allow 16,17 and 18 year olds the opportunity to lose focus and find mischief on Friday nights. It's all about what's best for the team to succeed and not necessarily what's convenient for the fanatics.

Again unless we find another receiver so Bailey stops trying to force passes to Nunley and our DB’s stop being afraid of contact our playoff will be short lived if we get past this weeks game. We just don’t have much speed on defense. Overall really slow.

Same thing happened two years ago when all of the best DBs and double teams were on Prosperie.  It freed up Guanerie.  This season #9 has tried to force more passes, and hasn't been as accurate as last season, he's still a good QB.

The defense is what it is, at this point.  Hopefully #43 is getting back to speed now, so to speak, but otherwise this is it as far as the DBs go I think. Hopefully the offense will really get clicking, and that will be all we need.

It’s not Bailey’s fault. The OC has had all season to figure out how to scheme the other receivers open. The OC thinks Bailey is better than he is and that the receivers are faster than they are. So, he calls plays like he’s holding a video game controller.

I think we’ve got defensive speed on the sideline that the coaches just aren’t willing to use. I’m sure they know something I don’t. But from what I can see, our kicker is better at pursuing and hitting the runner than our CBs. No. 22 likes hitting people and is fast and he’s on the sideline. And that’s just the ones I can remember. There’s still some starting who shouldn’t be. We need hungry hunters out there and I’m not seeing it from our secondary. In every play there’s at least one guy who seems to hope the ball doesn’t come toward him, or that someone else will tackle him. Last year our DBs wanted contact.

Another thing we’re missing on defense is we’re too easily blockable. We used to run through blocks. This year, we’re trying to get around blocks. If a blocker can get you to try to get around him instead of simply crashing the lane he’s blocking, he’s won without having to touch you.
