Silsbee started basketball last week. Played 5A #17 Port Arthur Memorial. Will play two other 5A state ranked teams this week in #8 Beaumont United and #21 Lufkin. Point being, Silsbee start

I dont know if Jasper has won state in any sport. Maybe track or rock paper scissors. Not sure.

Nothing to see here. Bellville should win handily. You need to continue to look ahead like normal.

Hard to think Silsbee has much of a chance after what happened last year, when the tigers were a much better team.  That said, Bellville seems to be down quite a bit from last year as well.  Still, I think it's the end of the road for Silsbee.

Only prediction I'll make other than a Bellville win is that it won't be 61-7.

Might be 42-0 or 35-7, but not 61-7.

Agreed… Bellville doesn’t have near the firepower in the backfield from last year.. lost one to graduation (His little brother has grown a lot this year but still not Sam) lost one in week 2 for the season, and may not have the best of the 3 this week.

I think If DD Murray plays this week it will be at safety which is where he will be needed the most this week.. Sophomore Travis Turner did just fine last week at RB in Murray’s spot so I imagine that’s probably where they run him out this week especially with the O line playing so well recently.

I was going to say that the O-Line has really started to hit their stride lately.  Murray will play.

Dumb?? How does a Jasper fan come on here talking smack about a school you don't have a helmet logo for😂😂😂😂😂. That's like me coming on her and rooting for Carthage 😂😂. Now you rooting for Bellville is Dumb!!! How about you be original and go to the Jasper baseball thread because that's the only sport Jasper might sniff the playoffs in the rest of the year.

Bellville had a very big and fast defense and we just couldn't block Sanders or anyone. Its start hard to believe Bellville lost to Gilmer for the state title.

Jasper baseball went 2-26-1  last year. Jasper high school sports has not been doing well.

have you ever heard of me pulling for a non logo team?!! "drip drip"  you see it dripping again? 🤪 Bellville has won me money then turned around and kicked our butt. but like I said last year it's not the monetary value that matters most.  it's the moments like this that have far greater value.
