On a positive note they seem pretty patient with coaches.

as with everything are they willing to pay?

how are the numbers sub varsity wise/ talent?

What offensive/ defensive systems are a fit?

facilities?

Kids/ work ethic/ buy in?

as always someone will be real happy when they get that job

Bring in a slot T guy to get things turned around

I really hate when people say this.

Athletes in Livingston are already NOT playing because they never throw the damn ball.

Need someone that can relate to the kids, bring some enthusiasm,  knows the community and has an understanding of what the LIV is all about.

Also, they need someone with a MODERN offense and philosophy.

I am fairly certain that the best years Livingston ever had was with a "Slot T" guy.

Well aware of the history of Livingston.

Livingston had a D1 athlete at QB/S and a future NFL running back as well as a couple other small school college players on those teams.

And, the best year that never was in Livingston was a year they were VERY multiple, incorporating a number of SPREAD concepts.  That team was geared up for a DEEP run until the RB got injured and the TEAM didn't adjust well.

Everyone says this or that offensive system. It’s all philosophy of the head coach that is hired. The bigger thing is players buying into that system.

Amen

Coach has to understand the kids and the community.  Has to be able to establish a culture first and get the kids necessary to be successful out and playing.

Were you in Livingston at that time?

If you were, then you know the success was more about the PLAYERS and the MENTALITY than it was about the offensive system.

But, you keep doing you.

I am fairly certain that the same coach also had the best years in the history of a couple of more schools also running the "Slot T".
