Reason I ask is because when someone uses the term "Southeast Texas" on this website (SETXsports) I and some others here consider the area we cover here as Southeast Texas. That's a much broader area than the Golden Triangle.

GT area is not all that big an area when you really look at it.

I dont think Silsbee can go 12 deep. From what I've seen 8 would be good. Who else outside of Johnson will be added to the varsity basketball team once football ends?

Besides Johnson, Cartwright will be a big one. He's capable of 20 points a game if he can keep it together. Others include Gains, Walker, and another Jones. There may be one or two more, but I'm not 100 percent sure if they're going to play basketball or not.

I think Silsbee beats Lufkin. Once we get around late December, this team will find its stride. I picked Silsbee to make it to state again this year. Same ol threats in Wheatley, Washington, and Yates will be there in the 3rd round thru the Regionals. I really liked the shooting of Silsbee guards in the 1st half. The 2nd half, the inexperience kicked it. Keep playing hard Tigers!

Johnson will make a big difference when he gets back. And what about that freshman #15  Cardinalli..? I" think we got something special with that kid.
