….denied parole. She should have been executed. She should at least never come up for parole. This is what is wrong with our society. Bleeding hearts wanting to give her some second chance. I think about those kids crying mommy while going under water. She heard their screams then concocted a crazy story to cover it up. They should play those screams for her to hear till the devil comes for her.

Hypocritical is crying that abortion stops a beating heart while demanding the murder of another human being.

And vice versa.

Me?  I'm pro-life... unborn children AND convicted criminals.  The part no one wants to recognize is that it cost a lot less money to house/clothe/feed Susan Smith for 40 years that it would cost to fund her appeals of a death sentence.  I'm also anti-wasteful spending.

Nothing hypocritical at all about that opinion.

I thought you weren’t going to respond to my post anymore. Promises, promises…..

Don’t play your little game of mincing words. Look at Hippy’s and TVC’s posts above. There is no comparison.

So you have deemed what peoples’ limitations are?

I am pro life of innocent unborn children.

I am pro death penalty for heinous murderers who have been convicted and appealed their verdict.

There is no either/or to it.

So  “thou shall not kill” applies to helpless unborns, but not to men handcuffed to gurneys decades after whatever crime they committed.

Makes sense to me.

So you want to spare the life of a heinous murderer while taking the life of an unborn is ok. Makes sense to me.

It's called reading comprehension.

I against abortion and capital punishment.  It's way cheaper to just let a murderer rot in a cell to have them executed just to win the votes of bitter old white dudes who would never have the intestinal fortitude to work in a prison, much less flip the switch on a human.

Well, there’s ONE. Most liberals have no problem with abortion but will scream to spare the life of a criminal. That sounds pretty demented to me. In fact, perfectly backwards to everything I believe. What elde is new?

Yup... both sides do the same thing.  "Abortion stops a beating heart!"  So does a lethal injection.

Kinda like "If you murder someone, you should be put to death! Now go murder that guy strapped to the table!"

No, this is a woman. She should be strapped in the back seat of a car (facing backwards) and rolled slowly into a lake so that she can experience what her two beautiful, innocent boys viewed just before the water rose above their heads while screaming her name. (punishment fit the crime). How terrible of me.

All murders don’t meet the criteria for a “capital” offense. Extenuating circumstances are always in the mix. I’d say she met the criteria but somehow got it reduced to life (where’s the without parole). TVC can enlighten you much better than myself.

Ok.... and what would the difference be between:

A.  Susan Smith strapping her kids in a car and rolling the car into a lake and

B.  Someone else strapping Susan Smith into a car and rolling the car into a lake?

They would both be committing murder the same exact way.  You don't want justice, you want vengeance... and the the Lord already claimed that.
