You are correct, this isn't last year or the year before.  Both of those seasons everyone loved the more talented team and those teams loss.  Same will happen this game.  WHEN we beat TH, I'm more concerned with a SOC team, because of a running QB.

This Texas High team is one of the fastest teams I seen since FBM ran it to the ship few years back… Tradarian Ball is very talented player best one I seen in person past couple years. I have Texas High winning this one, I think they make it to state championship this year. They are that good all around.

Yes if they can beat THigh I’ll have them penciled in to make it to state and beating SOC along the way.

Anyone reasonable knows PNG has a tall task ahead of them. This isn’t 2023’s team. We still need to see the defense gel into an aggressive, smart unit. But, and perhaps more importantly, this isn’t the 2021 team. In 2021 we weren’t at nearly the conditioning and coaching level we’re at now. Texas High beat us because we couldn’t keep up physically. Granted, Texas High has improved from 2021, and we’re rightly considered the underdogs. We can play with these guys. We just have to execute.

They may have been, but png doesn't have the same team they had last year either...they were much stronger on the back end of their D last season than they appear to be this year and from what I see, png had better team speed last year...png and Texas High does make for an interesting matchup as png does have size and can match up in the trenches..I just don't think they will be able to contain the skill players for TH, but that's why they play the games

Beating Hallsville and Kaufman didn’t take that Mid County Madness sting away, did it?  Our district had 4 GOOD teams, but not a GREAT team in my opinion. This PN-G team is not the caliber of the previous two versions, again just my opinion. The 3 teams that PN-G barely beat or lost to in district have been thoroughly beaten by better teams in the playoffs. Texas High is really good. You will soon see that.

Always hanging a season on MCM is an embarrassment to you little Ned fans.  Yes, we will see come Friday.  High School football is about matchups.  Just like the previous seasons, our defense improves week to week.  What excuses will you come up with next week after we beat the team that destroyed Ned in week 1.   If PNG can win state again this year, Ned can brag how they gave them the only loss.  🤣🤣🤣guess we can be co-champs.
