They are very good. Really good shooting guard that's '6"3. Also have a do it all forward that's '6"5. He does everything for them. Score, rebound, defend.

Maybe not as quick overall as those other teams, but I think they will at least make state semifinals.

If they can stay steady, BH will make some noise. They have tendency to wear down by end of the year. Great coach, and this might be the most complete team BH has had since being 5A. Hopefully, the Eagles can keep it going.

Yep.

I did it for years. The first several years we had a panel of admin/mods that voted weekly. Then it got down to just 3-4 of us the next few years, then it was just me the last 3 years that we did the rankings.

Been about 3 years since we did rankings here. When it got down to just me doing it, then the rankings got personal with some folks. So I decided it wasn't worth the hassle. 

I've been asked many times to do a rankings, both team and player. I could be talked into doing team rankings but I will never ever do a player ranking.

I would be in favor of bringing back the local rankings. I am sure it’s a pain in the back to do it by yourself, but honestly you see enough of all these teams to have the best evaluations. Player rankings, seems like a bad idea. But local teams, I’m for it.

Or could do a 6A-5A, 4A-3A, 2A-1A top 8.

The breakdown of the number of teams we cover here are as follows:

6A   8 teams

5A   15 teams

4A    14 teams

3A    21 teams

2A    14 teams

1A     8 teams

 

If you did two polls, then it would be ranking 37 and 43 teams. If you did three, it would be 23, 35, 22.

The problem with doing a ranking that involves three different classifications is folks will always bring up that the smaller schools couldn't beat the larger schools. Most times that is true but that is not what a three classification ranking is about. Some just don't get it.

I like the 3A and 4A grouped in together. But, 3 separate rankings would be tough.

Actually, doing three polls is easier. Less teams to work with.

Problem is the 2A-1A poll. Only 22 teams and several of those are not ranking worthy.

Nope.

If I do it, IF!!!, It will be after the holidays.

I want to see more teams first. Plan on attending several tournaments in the next month so that will help.

Most likely have a ranking on January 3rd.
