If it comes down to a 1 score game, PNG has the most outcomes with a win. SOC had a weaker schedule, not counting their non-district games, making them look better than they are, but not saying that they aren’t a powerhouse. And their big wins over subpar teams make them overconfident. No doubt, though, we are in the toughest region in 5A D2. One other thing that the Indians have in their arsenal that most other teams don’t is the fans willing to travel long distances filling our side and bringing the noise and dreadful “tomahawk chop”…the 12th man! CCRed Posted November 30 Report Posted November 30 It may be an advantage for PNG playing SOC in an earlier playoff game than the state finals. As said above PNG fans travel well, and let’s face it, those state finals games for SOC might as well be home games. BleedBlackandGold, PN-G bamatex and Red Boyou 3 Quote

pine curtain Posted November 30 Report Posted November 30 Figure we would know where the game would be played by now. Looks like SOC is trying to get a small stadium to take the crowd out of the game. Quote
TrojanWarrior08 Posted November 30 Report Posted November 30 Give me PNG in a somewhat defensive game 24-21 Quote
navydawg31 Posted November 30 Report Posted November 30 Put the game at Kyle field in college station or SHSU both half way and great venues wo-s#1 1 Quote

I think the correct thing would be to say SOC was in a weaker district… Which is true BUT they did beat Huntsville 38-7…Who PNG only beat by 3 points… I think we can agree that nothing in the regular season that happened matters now bullets13, badndn and dj 1 2 Quote

WOS1986 Posted November 30 Report Posted November 30 Not matter where the stadium will be at because PNG fans will follow and go anywhere even in Oklahoma or Arkansas. They are very loyal and strong family! Let's go and beat SOC! Quote

That stadium is magnificent for its level though. Possibly the best D3 in the nation, but not an adequate size for this game with other sites available. Quote
