Kind of like your still butt hurt about Ned beating PNG earlier this year?   If not why keep bringing it up .  :)

LOL What does MCM have to do with Horns whipping those Aggies?  I'm a little confused here.  But then again, I wouldn't expect anything different coming from a fan supporting a team that is out of the playoffs round 1.  🤣

Ain’t paying like a 6A job especially this one in particular that’s rumored to come open and has an AD title attached to it

The only thing I could see is Gary retiring and Jeff taking over at Katy.  The issue is, Katy is so watered down with the recent growth of schools, they’ll likely never return to the dominance they once had.

you are the one that kept bringing it up in the PNG vs TH thread.   No one else is still talking about that game.

SOC is probably still a little tee'd off from last year.  I'm sure this one has been marked on the calendar all year.  If you don't pressure that QB the game will be over quick.  But I'm thinking your coaches already know this.  He wasn't prepared for the Dogs, but I think he'll be prepared Friday.  Good Luck Indians.

He's building a legacy at PNG... he isn't going anywhere, even if someone throws big money at him. There is more to coaching than just money. I am married to a coach/girls coordinator. This is our 3rd school to be at in 9 years, and we feel "at home" finally. Me being a former player of PNG, I can't imagine having the gratitude, support, and appreciation the PNG community is giving Jeff.

Just got off the phone with Coach Todd from SOC.  Needless to say, he is very concerned about his defense being able to slow down PNG all 4 quarters.  Especially late in the game.  As for his offense, he feels like the only score SOC will get will be the nice uniforms and bling his coaches will all be wearing.  SOC will be in all black with white gloves.  LOL

I think PnG should rush four. Our linebackers aren’t doing much in pass coverage anyway, so we can send one of them right off the bat. Not a delayed rush, just a straight attack. If they’re going to pass or run the qb, at least make the line work for it.

He got paid almost 125k last year only Claude Mathis and Reginald Samples made more as state championship winning coaches unless it's a huge brinks truck i wouldn't worry about him

Hey, it comes down to a bunch of high school kids vs another bunch of high school kids , each team under the guidance of a coach.  Execution & game management is always the key.  That goes for whether you are from the Dallas Mecca High School of SOC, or the chemical plant Reservation of PNG.  Let's play the game & see who wins!!!

I am hoping the rain is not as much a factor, but if so, I'll take those Indian Boys pounding the ball out in the trenches!!!🏈

PNG's defense has improved drastically. TH would've scored 50+ on PNG's defense from earlier in the season and they held them them to their lowest points of the season last week. TH offense in my opinion is more explosive than SOC. SOC by far has more talent but PNG has proven the last 3 years that doesn't matter. If the Indians can hang around like last week I think they will win.

BINGO!!  All I know is, Jeff Joseph seems to keep EVERYONE guessing and just when it looks like PNG is outmatched…BAM, out comes the “magic purple playbook”!  It’s CHESS not CHECKERS and no doubt he’s got his next move ready for SOC!!

BTW…PLEASE keep being “morons” and picking PNG to LOSE!!  🤣

I think those Neches River boys are still hungry. That game last Friday blew my mind. This MORON thought that PNG's season was over. But, the defense was in attack mode in the 2nd half and I knew that if PNG could run they would win. I honestly thought PNG would play catchup the entire game. The Damage, Inc. Defense + Clock Mgmt + Hunger is Dangerously effective.

I'll take PNG -6.5. Calpreps has SOC by 14. That's better than last year.

Stay hungry boys!

No matter what, I LOVE watching the UIL’s “daddy ball” agenda with moving PNG to Region 2 totally IMPLODE…Liberty Hill gets to watch from the COUCH while the INDIANS are on a path to completely ELIMINATE the “darling” DFW and North TX from the 5A div II State Championship game!  Let’s GET IT DONE boys and give them the MIDDLE FINGER all wrapped up in a BIG PURPLE BOW!!  🤣

Coach Joseph and staff have done a phenomenal job with the Indians. A very excellent hire I certainly hope PNG wins this week

The big worry is the secondary. Remember the 1st state game vs SOC, the DL and LB’ers shut down the run, however the secondary was simply overmatched. I am hoping this is not the case this game

Good luck Indians!

IMO this is a totally different SOC team...they are really pretty average w/the receivers and passing game..QB is a very good runner, but the OL is the star of the offensive show for them

I find this alignment season to be very suspect. Do you think Liberty Hill had something to do with it? I've heard ppl say that. But they're out so.. If what you say is true then too bad for them
