Well, that was like Custer's last stand but reversed, for the Indians.  But it was a good season for PNG, in our district, and our region, to get to the quarterfinals.

SOC is good, of course, but they were supercharged last night.  They were everything that everyone was saying about that defense, all of my boo-hooing aside.

Not at all..exact same coaching staffs from last year. Only difference in this game was Jimmy’s & Joes

So any coach can win with SOC?

Not saying that but go look at SOC record before Todd showed & started getting “players” to come to SOC! Players are the most important ingredient to any coach’s success

PNG’s OC and O line coaches from last year left. I’m not saying PNG would have won with them this year but pointing out that the staffs are not exactly the same.

Giving up 56 got nothing to do with the offensive side of the ball…. IMO injuns overachieved this year…. Joseph did another jam up job hiding his weaknesses and accentuating his strong points….. Ran into a buzz saw last night . Great season injuns.

I agree. I was only correcting what Izzy said.

Im just asking because WOS has a coach for them @WO-S 89 lol. To be honest SOC looked very good. PNG was lacking on athletes to match up. But to be fair Dallas Isd has 37 high schools compared to PNG ISD 1 high school. Its easier to stack a team. Not saying its an excuse but its hard to win ball games with home grown small town teams anymore. Dallas is a big area.

Hello??

His mommy took away his phone privileges.

We can try and analyze this game to death, but 1-2-3 play drives for SOC won this game. PNG will be back.

It wasn’t the outcome we hoped for, but congratulations on an incredible season and thank you for proudly representing the 409 area in the playoffs. SOC proved to be the better team last night.

I really don’t know why this is so hard to understand…reality is that it takes both, great players and coaches, but the best of coaches cannot win without players…Nick Saban even touched on this in an interview yesterday when talking about being selective about what NFL jobs candidates should consider

PNG OL getting hit hard by graduation??

Jackson Christian is the big one. Wolford still here. I believe we have some beef still staying but the leadership of Christian will be missed. Weuchel will be missed, but still get to watch him in baseball. I think we will be better in our defensive backs with speed and experience. Hernandez on D line will be missed.

That secondary needs work IMO. PNG usually replaces OL and WRs just fine (im basing this off Fairchief still, not Joseph)
