I was mistaken about which Eagle team I was watching at Texan Drive.  Newton played Boling in 2017.

If Woodville remains focused and play lights out like they've been doing in every game of the playoffs, they should cruise to Arlington, but if IF's were a 5th, we'd all be drunk! Give me WOOD 35-21  🦅

I think Woodville  by 17. The matchup will be Woodville vs Gunter. Gunter who rarely ever loses has already lost 2 games this year. There has been no super power team in 3A2 this year. Gunter is like WO-S and Newton used to be, they play defense. Defense wins Championships.

Gunter's two losses are to 5A Anna (who lost in Rd 3) and 4A-D1 #1 Celina....they've done what they always do to 3A-D2 teams and thats blow them out. 

Now Wall is intriguing because of how bad they beat Canadian, but Gunter even losing their best player last week should still cruise

TH is a good well coached team who has experience playing at this time of year. Lot of their guys are some of the same guys from last year's team that challenged Gunter at the state game. This is a different type team then what we've seen so far. Much more talented then Arp, more experienced than GS or De Kalb, and more disciplined than DF. I think we're the better team and we should come up with a win but I don't think it's gone be no cruising.

I live about 33 minutes due south of Gunter…Maybe I should take a little road trip up 289 to see what insider information I can gather 🤣

You might notice that the teams left in the playoffs are the largest teams in that division.  Woodville 364, Gunter 363, Wall 342 Dangerfield 326.  More kids mean more dept.  Go Eagles.
