Martins Mill 59

Pretty brutal way to end an instant classic.

Martins Mill coach ruined a great comeback for his team. No matter the call you can never get a tech called on you when your team still has a shot. What a battle that game was!

I can’t disagree there. I feel for them though, what a comeback. #11 for Martins Mill went crazy in the 4th, hitting 5 big time 3s in a row to all but send it to OT. The foul call at the buzzer was pretty bad. The ref gotta swallow the whistle there and let the kids decide the game. The tech on the coach I guess was warranted, he was very animated, but again, I think you gotta own the call and let the kids decide it. Tough way to end a really exciting game. Martins Mill is also without their big man this weekend. They are going to be very tough for anybody moving forward.

If what I was told is true, I will be surprised if the SA/Shelbyville game is played.

If what you was told was what happened last night during the late game, it shouldn’t be played. Led to a decent delay to the game in the main gym as well.

Got word that SA and Shelbyville had already agreed to not play the game due to them being in same district. This was agreed before the incident last night.

Last night was my first time watching them. They are very good. If the guy in the bench is the good big man they will for sure be hard to beat! Ready to watch them and Lipan today.

I missed the final for Brookeland and Chapel Hill game, got caught up watching middle schoolers shooting dice in the commons.

Brookeland got the win. Chapel Hill had a starter quit in the middle of the 2nd quarter. Took off his jersey and bounced out of the gym.

It’s been an eventful weekend.
