I missed the final for Brookeland and Chapel Hill game, got caught up watching middle schoolers shooting dice in the commons.

Brookeland got the win. Chapel Hill had a starter quit in the middle of the 2nd quarter. Took off his jersey and bounced out of the gym.

It’s been an eventful weekend.

83-70 final

Cade Morgan named all tournament. Averaged 26 pts 11 reb for the tourney

Landon Smith averaged 25 pts 5 reb

Brookeland now 13-6 (2-0) on the seesaon

next game is at Brookeland Thursday night vs 2A #4 Evadale

Brookeland is tough. Cade Morgan is an absolute workhorse!!

69-68 Kountze sells stole it to seal the game.

with his 7 steals this game he broke the nation record in career steals.

He’s got a talent for stealing the ball I haven’t seen in a high school kid. Hell of a player, and one of the best kids you will ever meet.

Very good game. Bradley had an off night. I think it was said he missed eight wide open looks. Tough for a guy averaging 25 coming in. Chambers and Sigler stepped up down low. Don’t think these two will meet up again. Tatum is a bubble but one of the two above them won’t make the playoffs. So they’ll go D1.

I said the same thing last night. I have seen #12 hit those floaters time and time again! Also #0 is usually better from the free throw line. You can give some of those misses to the Kountze defense and fatigue from the pace of that game. Couldn’t ask for a better tournament matchup than that!

thats correct as well as Tatum is Region 2 and Kountze Region 3.

But expect Kountze to go D2 and Tatum D1
