I’m guessing a 15-20 point Silsbee win here… While Hitchcock is #3 in 3A… I think their ranking is a little high.. I think they have lost a couple starters to injury as well which the one starter never saw the court this year after tearing his ACL during football season.

One never suited up. Decided not to play basketball this year.

That’s crazy after winning back to back state championships… also was told one player was removed from the team due to a off the court incident… not sure if he was a starter though

JV just started the 3rd quarter.

Silsbee only has about 12 kids between their freshman and JV teams. What in the world is going on? Are grades that bad? Even some kids are missing on varsity that were there.

Not sure on Silsbee specifically, but I know what attendance sometimes looks like at the under levels when school is not in session

 It's why some schools (usually small schools) don't schedule any games during holiday break.

Hitchcock has struggled on offense… partly because of Silsbee’s defensive pressure but also they don’t appear to have a go to player or good ball handlers…

Silsbee just kept pounding the ball inside for much of the first half. Hitchcock finally put a kid in there who could do something to defend it right before the halftime.
