I assume the HC/AD will also have a cert to teach which requires posting in public in some fashion. Usually, it’s 10 day minimum. I think it can be less in certain instances. But, don’t quote me on it. Been a while since I’ve been involved in Board matters, and districts can vary also. Separation Scientist 1

At least the new person will have a little more time to get acclimated & begin to evaluate & structure the program before the last minute. I wish them luck. Expand has that been the general reaction the last couple of hires? From what I remember the answer to that is a hard no, but i don't pay a whole lot of attention to BH. this is just one of the more interesting threads on the site right now.

Expand Wouldn’t say that myself. Would say possibly the most gullible hire in TX HS football history…unless it’s just a short timer. I’m just assuming they have someone already as the reason for the 5 day posting. It may well be that a consulting firm will be hired & an official search begin after Board approval at the meeting. Same 5 day time frame.

Expand It may not be listed in the posting but as now former BH HFC Abseck discovered it is absolutely a requirement. Does Supt Poole have any more High School age kids? I know there’s the one he went to jail over shielding him from drunk driving and leaving the scene of an accident charges, and there’s the son Abseck refused to make a starter. Are there any other Poole kids that could conceivably cause a new BH Coach any grief?

Expand Some thought Abseck was a bad hire. Later he was just a "mentee" to an elite coach, LOL. Coaches or whatever, it does not matter though. All things BH are criticized and the hard core critics badly want BH to implode. If anyone can not see that, and all the vile name calling, they have not been here the past 5+ years.
