I don’t think anyone cares what the race of the coach is as long as their good. You’re either an ex BH coach or Abseck. Lol. I’ve never seen a non school poster be so invested in another school’s affairs like you’ve been and I’ve been on here since like 2006 or whenever it started.

Does anyone have any inside information on what perks Coach Abseck had..? Like housing allowance or a vehicle bought by BH? I was told that he did.. didn’t know the truth behind this or not.

A candidate may already be picked and agreed upon, and this just is the mandatory posting. I assume the HC/AD will also have a cert to teach which requires posting in public in some fashion. Usually, it’s 10 day minimum. I think it can be less in certain instances. But, don’t quote me on it. Been a while since I’ve been involved in Board matters, and districts can vary also.

BTW, I know he’s still AD until his replacement is hired on but I think we can include Coach Abseck in the long list of ex-BH Coaches, no need to list him separately.

Can assume by the posting it isn’t an internal promotion. Posting is obviously a formality that’s required. Will be a current/former HC from another program. At least the new person will have a little more time to get acclimated & begin to evaluate & structure the program before the last minute.

I wish them luck. This has been a tough position to keep longer term.

has that been the general reaction the last couple of hires?  From what I remember the answer to that is a hard no, but i don't pay a whole lot of attention to BH.  this is just one of the more interesting threads on the site right now.

Wouldn’t say that myself. Would say possibly the most gullible hire in TX HS football history…unless it’s just a short timer.

I’m just assuming they have someone already as the reason for the 5 day posting. It may well be that a consulting firm will be hired & an official search begin after Board approval at the meeting. Same 5 day time frame.

It may not be listed in the posting but as now former BH HFC Abseck discovered it is absolutely a requirement.

Does Supt Poole have any more High School age kids?  I know there’s the one he went to jail over shielding him from drunk driving and leaving the scene of an accident charges, and there’s the son Abseck refused to make a starter.  Are there any other Poole kids that could conceivably cause a new BH Coach any grief?

Some thought Abseck was a bad hire. Later he was just a "mentee" to an elite coach, LOL. Coaches or whatever, it does not matter though. All things BH are criticized and the hard core critics badly want BH to implode. 

If anyone can not see that, and all the vile name calling, they have not been here the past 5+ years.
