baddog Posted January 10 Report Posted January 10 Penn State QB did the one thing he shouldn’t have done on their final drive. When you are forced to get rid of the ball (or eat it) don’t force it into the field of play, throw it out of bounds or at the feet of a receiver, (even take an intentional grounding), especially in your own territory. If you can’t get your FG to win, you take your chances in OT. Terrible decision that is not on the coach. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted January 10 Report Posted January 10 Won four of my five bets last night. Too bad that one loss cost me a parlay. +235 Quote

Betting OSU to cover, betting the over, betting 4 prop bets. Also have a bet with my daughter. She is taking tu and I have to give her 7. But I don't mind losing to her. I know if A beats B, and B beats C, doesn’t mean that A beats C. However, the only thing I can honestly judge them by is common opponents, which is done all the time. Michigan has beaten OSU the last 4 years and is the reigning National Champs. Texas totally destroyed Michigan earlier this season with defense. Texas is my team and I will pull for them no matter the odds, but it’s not blind allegiance. I truly think OSU may run into a buzz saw. Texas plays their game without stupid mistakes, Texas will win. Good luck, but I hope your grandkids get a second Christmas. Lol SmashMouth 1 Quote
SmashMouth Posted January 10 Report Posted January 10 I really want Texas to win this game, but I just don't see it. OSU (not a fan) has a really good ball club this year. It's gonna be a tough row to hoe for Texas. Quote

Michigan is the reigning champs, and after a bowl eligible season, they again beat OSU and Alabama (who some thought should have been included in the playoffs). Michigan even beat USC. Texas stomped Michigan. I believe. Quote

baddog Posted January 10 Report Posted January 10 Took 49 points in a college game (most bookies won’t touch a game with that big of a spread). Got beat by 50. That was the beginning of the end for me. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted January 11 Report Posted January 11 I absolutely love defensive games. baddog 1 Quote
bullets13 Posted January 11 Report Posted January 11 Monster stop there to regain some momentum. The end of the half was brutal after they fought back and had all of the momentum for about 6 six seconds Quote
bullets13 Posted January 11 Report Posted January 11 That last drive is what Ewers is capable of that I just don’t trust Arch to do yet. He’s been up and down this year, but he’s gotten the horns to two semis in a row. Arch has played about 10 snaps against good teams in meaningful games. Crazy to me all the people screaming for him to take over at starter at this point. Quote
BEARCPA Posted January 11 Report Posted January 11 1st and goal and the 1 and can’t get in smh. Quote
rupert3 Posted January 11 Report Posted January 11 OMG Texas fumbles at goal line and OHio State Runs back 87 yds for td 28-14 It's over Quote
BEARCPA Posted January 11 Report Posted January 11 The toss play on 2nd down was such a killer. Not sure what Sark was thinking there. bullets13 1 Quote

bullets13 Posted January 11 Report Posted January 11 This game was even. Two plays killed the horns, and both were on the coaches. OSU going 75 yds untouched with :29 left in the half on the most predictable play call ever, and a sweep toss for a loss of 7 from the 1 yd line doomed the horns. Ewers played a pretty solid game despite not getting great protection a good part of the night, and put them in position to tie it late. while I would’ve liked to see Arch come in for that goal line play, I still think it’s delusional of the texas fans who advocated for starting him over Ewers. I don’t understand the logic for wanting a guy with about 10 career snaps against quality opponents to replace the guy who’s led you to two straight semis IN the semi he’s led you to. It’s Arch’s team next year, but Ewers deserved the chance to see this year out, and it’s probably on Sark that he didn’t get it done. Quote
