This game was even. Two plays killed the horns, and both were on the coaches. OSU going 75 yds untouched with :29 left in the half on the most predictable play call ever, and a sweep toss for a loss of 7 from the 1 yd line doomed the horns.  Ewers played a pretty solid game despite not getting great protection a good part of the night, and put them in position to tie it late. while I would’ve liked to see Arch come in for that goal line play, I still think it’s delusional of the texas fans who advocated for starting him over Ewers. I don’t understand the logic for wanting a guy with about 10 career snaps against quality opponents to replace the guy who’s led you to two straight semis IN the semi he’s led you to.  It’s Arch’s team next year, but Ewers deserved the chance to see this year out, and it’s probably on Sark that he didn’t get it done.

Totally agree. It could have been a different outcome had the refs not missed this….

I like Texas. I don't like OSU. OSU is a better team though. OSU simply killed themselves with penalties allowing Texas to be competitive. Still, Texas could have pulled it off had it not been for the last couple minutes of poor coaching and average play.
