Baytown Sterling could put a wrench in it if they were to somehow make playoffs. They are the 2nd largest enrollment behind West Brook. They are the Region 4 team that Region 3 winner would play in the state semis. They are undefeated and number 1 in the tabc poll. Have beat some decent teams but play in a weak district based on my assumption (never heard of any dominant CC teams in boys basketball. Ever) Quote

They are the largest school in their district. You also cannot rule out #9 SA Wagner. They will be Div. 1 as well. #11 SA Jay could go either way, DI or DII. If the playoffs were a 3, 5 or 7 game series, then I wouldn't hesitate to make West Brook, United or PA Memorial heavy favorites. The better teams always wins a series. But when it comes to just a 1 gamer, lot's of things can happen. Looking ahead to a state semifinal match up when you are not even halfway thru district play, is the epitome of looking too far ahead.
