Coach 01 Posted January 11 Report Posted January 11 EC played their butts off. The first half, Kountze really struggled from the field, lots of in/out of the bucket, but EC was effort and intensity played a part in it. They really got up for this game and it had a playoff like atmosphere. 2nd half Kountze started to knock down a few more shots and EC was really having to work for good looks. Scored 12 points the second quarter was rough but was only down 7 at half time. Hard to come back against a good team like Kountze. It was a good game for EC to gage themselves on what they need to correct or work on. Good luck to both teams. Wish I could have made it to the game. Quote

Just called my grandson's game at 11am. Special young man. BTW, Silsbee beat Kountze 34-11. lol My grandson had 2 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 9 steals, 5 turnovers.
