AggiesAreWe Posted January 18 Author Report Posted January 18 Correction, will be Sells 4th MVP. I thought Perrault should have won it in Sells freshman year. These years are running together for this 60 year old. lol Quote
mfd814 Posted January 18 Report Posted January 18 He has won it 3 years in a row . And Perrault was good but that is the year Ktz beat them at EC. Quote

Right but EC won district and I believe Kountze did not make playoffs that year, 2023 season. 2 years ago. I just thought Perrault was more valuable and did more to get that accolade. I thought Sells should have been Offensive MVP. Quote

Thankfully he’s left 0% doubt ever since. mfd814 and BBfan061 2 Quote
Sports86 Posted Monday at 07:09 PM Report Posted Monday at 07:09 PM 5 T's in a high school game is terrible. Does not show much discipline. Quote
navydawg31 Posted Monday at 08:07 PM Report Posted Monday at 08:07 PM Wasn’t this coach hand picked by the parents on social media? lol Quote

With all due respect to Nathan Toon’s short stay, he’s the best I’ve seen here in the past 25 or so years. Quote

I was in the Perrault camp too because he was the best player on the best team and giving it to someone on a team that finishes in the bottom half of district seemed a little crazy. In hindsight, I’m kind of glad they did because Sells was definitely deserving to be in the conversation and 4 MVPs is just about unheard of. And from everything I hear, couldn’t happen to a better kid. mfd814 1 Quote

But there year, there isn’t a real discussion to be had. Edited: That’s my bad. I misread your response. And yes sir, he’s one of the best kids I have been around. He’s going to be successful in whatever he decides to do after basketball. BBfan061 and TxHoops 2 Quote

Ragusa(Orangefield) or Perrault(EC) should've been MVP that year and I'm leaning towards Perrault because they beat Orangefield twice and won the district that year. Newcomer should've been Scales(Orangefield). I'm not sure how EC didn't get anyone for a superlative, but I've seen some crazy stuff happen at district picks. I'm not sure how you have an MVP and NOY and don't make the post season. Cu Chulainn 1 Quote
