United plays hard and tough but they are way to small on the guards, those guard cannot stop any thing no matter who on WB has the ball. For football yes, but basketball no.....if schools were combined the last 4 years, none of these players you seen in tonight game would have been able to develop because they would have been on the bench mostly these past 4 years....

I was referring to the actual talent on the court not the team’s success. Mike T is doing a great job, but both those teams are some of the least talented groups I’ve seen in Beaumont in a long time.

This isn’t true at all lol you don’t think a good coach could find a way to play all the talent that was on those teams the past few years? You’re crazy 🤣🤣 

Schools like DV has had just as much talent if not more and had no problem developing their guys.

Mainly how Duncanville gets their athletes. They have been in trouble with the UIL about that subject.

Most of those athletes at Duncanville are already "developed".

Yeah I get that…but the poster was saying they wouldn’t be able to develop cause they wouldn’t play due to too much talent being on one team. I just used DV as an example of have a team full of talent and still finding a way to play everyone and getting them division 1 scholarships still.

They would develop but I guarantee (Charles Barkley voice) Nederland, Lumberton, Kelly, and a few other nearby schools would get an influx of students from the west end area of Beaumont. It is what it is

That’s part of it…but that still would hurt the success of the basketball program if Beaumont had just one school. It’s long over due honestly.
