The Lady Cardinals enter the game with a 6-4 record, on the heels of a 79-66 loss to New Mexico State on December 18 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Lamar is led in scoring by freshman Tamara Abalde, who is averaging 15.9 points per game along with 6.7 rebounds per game, while sophomore Brittney Williams is averaging 12.2 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. Junior Nikki Williams is averaging 11.2 points per game and has a team-high 27 steals while senior Aida Bakhos leads the team with 8.0 rebounds per game. Junior Agnija Reke has also been solid for the Lady Cards, passing out a team-high 42 assists. As a team the Lady Cardinals are shooting .365 from the field and have out scored their opponents 63.0 to 60.6. Lamar has also controlled the boards this season, out rebounding their opponents 41.2 to 37.4. Saint Louis enters the game with a 4-8 record, having lost their last game 83-77 at Florida on December 22. The Billikens are led by Katie Paganelli who is averaging 13.2 points per game while Amanda Kemezys is averaging 10.6 points and a team-high 8.4 rebounds per game. In just four games this season, Theresa Lisch has been Saint Loius' most potent offensive weapon, scoring 20.3 points. Saint Louis is averaging 67.3 points per game while giving up 69.2 points per contest, while out rebounding their opponents 40.1 to 36.8 this season. The Billikens have posted a team shooting percentage of .4.4, while allowing their opponents to shoot .411 from the field.
