Worthing would send Yates to DII. Only way Yates goes DI is for Kashmere to make playoffs. Right now, Worthing is 9-4, Furr is 7-6 and Kashmere is 6-7 in district. I just don't see Kashmere making it. Even if Furr makes it instead of Worthing, that would still send Yates to DII. That would put Wheatley on the opposite side of the bracket from Silsbee. Would not see them till regional final. I think Yates and Wheatley are very capable of beating Silsbee and it won't take a bad game from the Tigers to do it. Quote

They went 40% from the 3 point line against Vidor and 37% against Lumberton. If they get knocked out of the playoffs, it'll be because they tossed up a bunch of bricks. Quote

BBfan061 Posted Tuesday at 03:39 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 03:39 PM If you look at the current state rankings… and current playoff projections the only teams that are projected to go D2 that are ranked are #7 Palestine Westwood #8 Slayton #15 Onalaska #18 Paradise #24 MP Chapel Hill All the other ranked teams are slated to go D1… So yes I’d say Kountze has a very favorable path to the D2 State Championship Quote
