An older indoor its not big really can only do inside run

Yea, I think it was built in mid 2000s maybe?  and it’s half the football field. Mostly use it for bad weather and workouts/lifting weights. I think only a few schools in east Texas have one though. I know Marshall has a nice one but it’s not fully indoor and maybe Carthage. Can’t remember the other school.

Tatum is the other indoor facility in East Texas.

Center has the same setup as Marshall

Both Tyler schools have indoors.

Lindale, Tatum....

Kilgore but not sure if it's a full 100 yards, think it's similar to Lufkin's.

Longview has an indoor "turf room" but about to break ground on one of the top indoor facilities in the state. It'll rival Melissa's.

Lufkin's indoor (T J Turner Training Center) was built in 2005, it was part of a combined new turf and scoreboard project at Abe Martin, the place has served it's purpose well and has the ability to be expanded to a full sized field in it's present location. Coach Outlaw like to get things done back then.

I have a feeling that Carl Asbeck will help to get more things updated and done that are needed for Abe Martin today.

Best of luck to Coach Abseck! Ready to see what he build in Lufkin…

Lufkin posters… I know it’s brand new and all but have yall heard if he allow to bring in all new coaches? Just the coordinators? Or what?? Thanks

He brought his OC with him. That’s a head scratcher.

Explain why it's a head scratcher!

Go look at past years playoff games on play calling and even regular season. I think if you ask most BH fans, they would agree it was questionable at best. My opinion of course which means little. I was told Abseck brought him with him.

BH averaged over 45 points a game last year.

Gave up over 25 a game.

I can't see how offensive production could have been a problem.

Absecks offense was a strong point. The defense and play calling in tight games were suspec at some times. Still think he will do good at Lufkin

I agree Abseck will do good at Lufkin, his OC won’t last long unless Abseck calls the plays. That’s what I’m talking about. Good luck to them.

I’ve watched a few games of BH and several from his CP days, i do kinda agree. He did have some questionable play calling, especially on the road against PA memorial last season. However, i feel like he has a good plan coming to Lufkin. Also, our previous OC wasn’t a great play caller but averaged a lot of points over the last 15 years. This man is clearly better from what I’ve seen and I think he will have more talent to work with at Lufkin. So….we will see.
