My only source is this thread and the Beaumont Enterprise article on the subject.  I hadn’t even heard about this until today, no news about it at all in Baytown.  Excuse me for wanting to see for myself what happened rather than take the word of anonymous folks online.

There’s a couple of examples of similar situations here.  Looks like HCs are definitely looking at Reprimands and 2 year probations.  Programs might also be looking at 2 year probations and one or both HCs may be looking at 1 game suspensions, going by UIL SEC precedent.

I posted what I and many others saw on the video.

There will be reprimands. Comes with the territory.

I only posted about suspensions that have been handed out. 

I highly doubt either coach will be suspended for a game

“Highly doubt” doesn’t mean “won’t”.  I hope they don’t but there IS precedent for it.  Hopefully it ends with the player penalties handed down by the DEC and the coaches getting a reprimand and chewed out by the SEC and that’s the end of it.

The Beaumont enterprise didn’t even know and neither did you because all you did was speculate . We clearly told you what happened it was t an opinion it was a fact because some of us are privy to certain information without naming our sources . Aggies is as credible as they come .

Well forgive me if I don’t just take your word for it.  What the Hell are you claiming I “speculated” about?  I never picked a side in this.  What little I’ve heard about it says there was wrong on both sides and I don’t think it’s even been mentioned which side the player that shoved initially or which side the player who threw a punch was on.  Both teams had multiple players suspended, both Coaches will have to visit the SEC over it.  Where’s the “speculation” from me?

This bench clearing thing was completely over blown on WB's side. If you watch any WB game this year at the end of each quarter, the players step up on the court and high five the players coming off the court. The fight happened at the end of the 3rd quarter.  There was only 3 players from the bench that ran across the court where the fight was. The rest of the bench was doing exactly what they always do at the end of each quarter.

Well, now, if I’d SEEN the video, I guess I’d know that.  

Might be something that WBs Coach might reconsider allowing his players do at the ends of quarters, seeing as how because of that they had 8 suspended rather than just the 3.

I wonder if RSS has any football players also playing basketball.  There was almost a bench-clearing brawl at the REL/RSS game last season late in the 3rd and it was started by a RSS player shoving a REL player after the whistle and then taking a swing.  It was all the coaches could do to keep their kids on their benches.

Your wrong again the coaches do not have to go to the DEC smh
