The news also comes after Treasury’s acting Deputy Secretary David Lebryk resigned from his position at Treasury after more than 30 years of service. The Washington Post on Friday reported that Lebryk resigned his position after Musk and his DOGE organization requested access to sensitive Treasury data. 

 

 

“The Fiscal Service performs some of the most vital functions in government,” Lebryk said in a letter to Treasury employees sent out Friday. “Our work may be unknown to most of the public, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t exceptionally important. I am grateful for having been able to work alongside some of the nation’s best and most talented operations staff.”

Guess I'm now stupid.  How dare I want knowledge of wastefulness or usefulness of how YOUR and MY dollars are spent.  Sorry, for my lack of sophistication to not accept that my government knows what's best for us. 

I know, "sensitive data" will be the big push back. I call it a lie disguised to hide wastefulness.  Only the all knowing unelected bureaucrats should have such access to protect us peons.  I should just hush and trust a government that delivered me Joey B and the 7th string QB.

President Musk has a heckuva lot better ring to it than President Harris. Funny how you mention investigating Trump. I can’t name one person in history who has been investigated more than Trump. I’m sure wasteful spending will be found during all presidencies, but the only one you’ll whine about are Trump related. What you won’t find during Trumps Administration is him redirecting monies to his bank accounts. Can you say the same for your side. Get ‘em all. Those words you will never utter.
