Too early to tell. Sometimes things have to get a little worse before they get better. I'm thinking about the end game.

That’s exactly what happened with farmers, some folks apparently think we should continue getting taken advantage of by other countries because it may be inconvenient for a while.

Isn't China suing the US? Didn't they file a lawsuit with the World Trade Organization? I thought that Trump said he would decrease prices on day 1.

Hegseth says he’s got Trump’s back with military support, Mexico is sending 10,000 troops to their northern border, Panama will be guarding their southern border against South American migrants, border wall is going up at a fast rate with military help…..some will undoubtedly squeeze through the cracks, but it won’t be a cakewalk.

I don’t think Trump can be bribed, if that’s what you’re implying. When Trump shows a Taliban leader a picture of his own house and says he will kill him, I can’t see bribery in the picture. Trump’s a billionaire, so bribes have no effect.  I’d love to be a fly on the wall behind those closed doors.

Mexico and Canada will not win a trade war with the USA......period....not even in the Democratic universe.  Trump knows this and so does Canada and Mexico.

What I find funny is just a few weeks ago the Democrats talking points was the economy was just fine and inflation was coming down.....but now that Trump's President, they are all of a sudden worried about prices....The American people see through that.....2026 is looking better and better for Republicans.

President Trump Pauses Tariffs Against Mexico After They Agree to Send 10,000 Troops to the Border.

Haven't you figured it out yet that tariffs are a negotiating tool for America to get what they want/need?  Why it works because The Don will impose them.  No empty threats here!  You have to feel good about the fact that you have someone now doing something for America instead of against!

It isn’t a trade war. It is a demand to secure your own border.

 The claimed “war” lasted two days with Mexico. Trudeau talked to Trump yesterday and has a scheduled talk this afternoon.

I purchased a new home year and half ago and doing well so it makes me no difference. I can't/won't speak for others

I care about all true Americans. Tariffs have been discussed, just didn’t have it’s own thread. They have been pretty effective so far.

You can choose not to participate, that's a freedom. 

For me personally, I want what's best for me and my family and I'll vote for who I think does it.

Trump is try to get Fentanyl to stop coming across the border and equal some of our trade deals with other countries......I don't see why both parties can't agree that is a good thing.
