The fact is that Trump withheld military aid and an invitation to the White House from Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy in order to influence Ukraine to announce an investigation into Trump's political opponent Joe Biden. 
 

In fact, Trump was impeached for doing so.

Trump is having to clean up Biden’s failed foreign policies, yet you take your shots at Trump? Ok, let’s take Trump and the U.S out of the picture. Let UK go and deal with Putin. They met Zelensky, after his tantrum, with open arms. Where is Zelensky today????? The ungrateful Europeans and the Chinese should embrace the U.S. for the sacrifices made during WWII. If not for U.S involvement, Europe would be speaking German and China would be speaking Japanese.
