T-Lu Posted February 16 Report Posted February 16 I Know alot of folks around the Golden triangle, don't believe we will make a deep run, heck even people from Silsbee don't , its not hating its just your opinion, but I'm telling yall these young men are ready to make the town proud . I talked to a few of the players last night and they said we hear all the non believers and we gone show everybody starting Monday night . I always said this, every time Silsbee steps on the court they have one if not the best player on the court and I know you need more than that but to know we have that , I'm living with the results, if we get lost in rebound and defending its gone be hard to beat us . this playoff run gone be special I can feel it . There are several higher ranked teams between Silsbee and San Antonio but none in the top 5. If they get past Center tonight the game at the end of the week will tell the tale. In a way last year's graduating class can be called the Hard Luck Kids. First there was Covid. Then there was the absurd Faith Family thing. FF had an enrollment of 717 last year while Silsbee had an enrollment of 793. Faith Family was 3rd smallest school in their district. Quote
