T-Lu Posted Tuesday at 01:48 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 01:48 PM Im not the person to only show face when we win , I take our losses just like I take our wins, I stated on my fb post its 8 things we have to do to advance in the first 1 was finish of the defensive possession with a rebound , although the rebound count was even the offensive rebounds is what sent us to the attic .2nd it was don't let number #20 shoot from the top of the key , he hit 3 threes from that exact sport. this was a bad loss because we was 10 points better than this team. all the mental collapse, all the miss free throws, all turnovers, it caught up with us, my opinion houston wheatley makes it to state champ game smh . most of the varsity boys will be on my aau team this summer , we have alot of work to do with our program and it starts now , but remember this name .. Lance Chaison, and payton sells. they will be thrown in the fire this summer Quote
Box1 Posted Tuesday at 02:39 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 02:39 PM Them boys need to shoot, ALL summer. Put them on the shoot-away and forget about them. Goal for the end of the summer: - shoot 70% from the charity stripe at least - shoot 100 3s a day, and try to meet 38-40%. Uncontested this shouldn't be a problem T-Lu 1 Quote

Uncontested this shouldn't be a problem you must been reading my mind!!!!! cause that's exactly what we doing this summer . we don't shoot enough because we not confident in our shot but this summer that's all we doing, also learning how to play some real defense and basically getting back to the basics. I seen wheatley let that bad boy fly with no hesitation Quote
Mballler#1 Posted Tuesday at 07:23 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 07:23 PM There is a shooting academy in Houston that really teaches players how to shoot I met the gentleman that runs it when Silsbee played Staffort and one of the bigs on Staffort is his son they all can shoot the 3 they jumped out 18-0 on Silsbee in that matchup so fundamentally shooting even from mid range needs to be worked on and free throws is a must Wheatley did what they had to do with a little help from Silsbee but even they knew that was one of the biggest win in at least 15yrs for them Silsbee isa Basketball championship town they have a lot more ingredients to come they need to put it together and Cook. STiger85 Posted Tuesday at 10:21 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 10:21 PM Don’t shoot just to shoot. Shoot with form and technique. Don’t shoot too much that you get tired and develop bad habits. This game with Wheatley was the type of game you see in the regionals. In the offseason you work to become better, work em up T-Lu can’t wait to see what next year brings. T-Lu 1 Quote
