I don’t have a problem cutting wasteful spending. I have a problem with slash and burn. That’s DOGE.

Explain:  How is cutting waste, fraud and abuse considered slashing and burning?

As a libertarian, I’m no big Trump fan. But, he was better than the alternatives. I didn’t vote in the last cycle (first time ever) because I said I was tired of voting against someone instead of voting ‘for’ someone.

Either way, I’m a limited government guy. That means I’m not R or D. I’ll take the benefits available that I’ve paid into if they’re still there. But, if they’re not there, I’ll deal with that also.

I have yet to see Trump do anything to ‘destroy the Constitution.’ I actually saw more of that in the last farcical administration where the people were lied to about a candidate & will never know who was actually running the government. Other than, it wasn’t the duly elected POTUS.

THAT is the biggest scandal/corruption of all time.

1) Failure to recognize the separation of powers by ignoring the Supreme Court.

2) Talking about a third term without the numbers to amend the Constitution accordingly

3) Attacking the First Amendment by selectively targeting free speech he doesn’t like.

All this just in the first 100 days.

1) He hasn’t ignored SCOTUS—yet. Swing and a miss.

2) Talking? You’ve got to be kidding me, right? Swing and a miss.

3) Federal money comes with strings. SCOTUS has ruled on this numerous times. Swing and a miss.

That’s 3. Next batter.

In contrast, the previous Administration (whoever the heck was running it) ignored SCOTUS numerous times on student loan forgiveness, ignored federal law & the Constitution by allowing/encouraging illegal immigration, and applied undue pressure to social media & press outlets using the force of the federal government.

Just sayin’.

My son is a trade specialist at Fidelity Investments. He said that he gets cussed out several times a week because people blame him for the value of their stock decreasing.

Trump knows that. He uses it to shield his own ignorance.

So what happened when greater losses happened under Biden during almost the whole year of 2022?  Were people happy at Fidelity then? Did you post in 2022 that people were cussing out Fidelity then?

Around 40% of the country isn’t affected by market volatility investments. They don’t participate because they are barely getting by as it is.

The younger people who are contributing into a 401K or similar are getting a MUCH better bang for their buck right now vs. the greatly overpriced market they were buying into a year or so ago. People don't understand stocks are "on sale" now instead of being "overpriced".

My best investing ever happened during the Covid crash. I made a ton of money then.
