Let’s wait and see what comes of this. My question would be, why would an American reporter, worried about national security, release this info? The info is from strikes that already happened? Nothing was classified. I smell a rat. I think this will get very interesting.

The same people that are calling for this never called on Hillary Clinton to resign as secretary of state when she got busted sending classified information over an illegal computer server.  Plus she acid washed her hard drive.  Sure, our side called for it but she never did.  Both sides huff and puff.  My point: If the other side never resigns then our side shouldn't either.  What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

I recall mostly everyone calling for Hillary to step down and/or be jailed: The issue with Hillary's email was less about her conducting official business on her personal server, along with top secret information and more about her using software called bleachbit to wipe all the "evidence" from hard drives and her staff using hammers to destroy iPhone AFTER she was issued a subpoena requesting all her electronics and hard drives.  

It does not appear anyone tampered with evidence in this case.

The information was not classified at the time. When has she ever sent classified info  to a journalist, and what type of idiot has a group chat regarding military action

The reason I would disagree is that this administration needs to set themselves apart from previous ones. Show that potentially dangerous missteps have equally serious consequences. Sometimes examples have to be made and a "sacrifice" may have to be made for the greater good.

I can see your point but I feel this administration has already set itself apart by actions and the folks they have put in positions, by qualifications, not checking a box.

Unless you have someone as qualified, ready to step in, which is difficult, I certainly wouldn’t can anyone just for PR reasons, and I’m willing to bet this ain’t happening again, lol.
