Eagle11 Posted April 8 Report Posted April 8 The greatest week in golf. I am ready to go back and walk this course again. Who are you picking to win it? I will stick with Scheffler. I also like Ludvig Aberg this week too Quote
navydawg31 Posted April 9 Report Posted April 9 I got Scottie my dark horse pick Xander Schauffele… Quote
Separation Scientist Posted Saturday at 03:32 AM Report Posted Saturday at 03:32 AM Seems like ESPN is making a fool of themselves again. I am following it on my phone and apparently ESPN is showing little or nothing of Bryson DeChambeau, just because he plays on the LIV tour. That's what social media is claiming. DeChambeau is one stroke off the lead and alone in 2nd place! Meanwhile they flood their coverage with people who are not even making the cut! I hate sorry ESPN. They always have politics going on. If you can't cover someone in 2nd place who could easily win the Masters you are FAILING, espn. navydawg31 1 Quote

He only had about 3 holes left to play when they came on air. Same as McElroy. He had teed off early yesterday and only had a couple of holes left when they came on air. They periodically showed highlights of those two's second round. Their coverage in the afternoon is of the players who teed off in the afternoon. Same as Thursday. McElroy and DeChambeau got plenty of coverage on Thursday when their play was in the ESPN broadcast window. Quote
Separation Scientist Posted Saturday at 07:06 PM Report Posted Saturday at 07:06 PM OK I'll take your word for it. However, I am reading lots on social media. The little bit I did get to see live (maybe 15 min.) had zero on BD, not even any replays. They didn't even say the word "Bryson" that I heard. Its hard to believe that even with 3 holes left, they could not show something. Maybe they did but I never trust espn. Too much politics. Quote
baddog Posted Saturday at 07:44 PM Report Posted Saturday at 07:44 PM McIlroy picks up 5 strokes in 5 holes…..leading by 3 at -11. Dechambeau at -8 Quote
Eagle11 Posted Sunday at 03:13 AM Author Report Posted Sunday at 03:13 AM Should be a good final round. Have any of y'all been to Augusta National? If so, what really stood out about your walk around the course that maybe you don't get watching on TV? For me it was Hole #10. We stood behind the tee box and watched 2 groups tee off and you can tell there is an elevation drop. We wondered to a few different spots then ended up at #10 green. We looked back at the tee box and it looked like we were looking up a mountain. Elevation changes at that course are more severe than the tv shows. Also, concession prices. One place that could get away with charging crazy amounts and they don't. navydawg31 1 Quote

If you go to the masters website and create an account you can apply for the ticket lottery June 1st thru 20th. If you get chosen, you pay the face value for your tickets. Quote

That had to be the biggest crowd I have ever seen at the Masters. Quote
baddog Posted Monday at 11:32 PM Report Posted Monday at 11:32 PM Saw some undulations I hadn’t seen before. I think it was hole #6. From tee to green had a deep gorge in between. Saw the golfers walking to the green. You could tell it was steep by the way they walked. Quote

Lot's of folks sit on the hill side below the tee box. Been that way for many decades. Quote
