Donald Trump ordered the FCC to sanction CBS for two segments about Ukraine and Greenland Sunday night. I saw the Zelenskyy segment. Looked like journalism to me. If any of you support this move, how can you call yourself Americans. It is a blatant affront to the First Amendment. The Weasel cries like a baby when people complain about what his supporters say or do citing free speech. He pardoned hundreds for their “expression” of free speech on Jan. 6. If someone says something he doesn’t like he acts more like Putin than he does an American President. Can’t you see the kind of country he wants to try and create? It’s certainly NOT a democracy.

No one takes you seriously, where was your outrage when Obama’s DOJ went after James Rosen and others.  There was actual spying on private citizens going on.

The crybaby left always using the term democracy, when they can’t follow the first rule…..majority rules. Also in a democracy, you don’t dismiss a sitting president and replace him with a fool just because you think he can’t win and you aren’t sure he could last another term…..and I don’t even like Biden, but this was wrong and unconstitutional.
CBS falsified their communist candidate’s answers during a presidential run. What could be more democratic? Actually, it was so treasonous that they may go under with the multi-billion dollar lawsuit. When subjects like this arise, the crybabies run and hide.

If it walks like a duck and wicks like a duck… He is Brendan Carr’s boss, and he readily fires bosses who don’t do as he “hopes”, or who disagree with him. The First Anendment is the real issue here. He wants a news organization fined for airing positions he disagrees with. Why not comment on some of that?

Don’t recall the left worrying about the first amendment when the last administration pressured news outlets to squash Covid data they disagreed with, which they actually did.

But Trump makes a comment that will have no affect and NOW the first amendment is being violated.

Here you go, wise ask. This is the only link referencing the charge I could find from a legit news source. The administration was trying to get Zuckerberg to do something about  misinformation, not suppressing the truth.

They were suppressing the truth, your article backs up my point about biden strong arming the media to tell lies that kept folks from learning about covid treatments that actually worked.

He pardons lawbreakers who say what he likes. “Free speech for me, none for thee.” That’s an autocracy, not a democracy. Does that clarify my point any at all? Do I have to give a link to me? I don’t want to break any rules.

In fair context, 60 minutes edited the Harris interview to hide her incompetence and make her look more impressive than she is. They acknowledged it. That can potentially be election interference.

Even free speech has limitations. To be in control of a nationwide media outlet and broadcast fake news to the American public is treasonous. Losing their FCC license should be the least of their problems. 
The problem people have with the first amendment is that they think it allows them to do anything.
