According to th Polk County Enterprise coach Lester King is out after 38 years in Goodrich.  The Goodrich ISD board voted to non-renew his contract.

Goodrich will look very strange without a Lester King on the sideline.

I don't know.  You could say that about hundreds of Class A schools. Even Leggett but we've been there for a very long time with about 220+ kids and hanging in there.  Goodrich is bigger and has a healthy tax base and a great storied past. Both schools are a pillar of there communities.

School is 100 years old!

Lester King is a Legend. Not Soft at All!!! People want soft nowadays. Good luck finding someone willing to do all he did for that District at the pay they are giving out.
