The State of Isreal is wrong, wrong, wrong. Because people erroneously believe that they are God's chosen people, they think they can get away with anything. They are bullies.

Do you believe the Holocaust actually happened?  Or is it a lie?

'Nearly a quarter of young Americans believe the Holocaust didn’t happen or has been exaggerated.'
'Survey shows stunning lack of knowledge among Americans aged 18 to 39, with some believing in conspiracy theories shared on social media.'

On a side note, Neil Armstrong was an elastic toy with a nickname of "Stretch.' Not a real person that actually did anything.

I don't think people realize how scary it is having politics or an agenda in school. People are a product of their schooling and upbringing.

I was a product of the currently less popular ass-whoopin'. Lol.

I bet you drank out of a water hose, put Vicks in your nose, and alcohol on Q-tips in your ears too. Good Lord Man!

How are you still alive?

(This is my ghost speaking. I rode my bicycle & homemade skateboard without a helmet and knee/elbow pads.)

Lmao. This is no exaggeration. I do the alcohol on q-tips thing to this day. Just did it this morning. It's funny you included that...

If the hose was lying in the sun, you better let it run for a second or two. I learned the hard way. My homemade skateboard sucked. Lol

My skateboard sucked also. But, it was all the more exciting when you took a rope, had a buddy tie it to the back of their bike & haul butt pulling you while you jumped your homemade piece of crap ramp made with half rotted plywood down the middle of your busy street.

Oh, and with no helmet or knee/elbow pads. Just shorts, flip-flops & clean ears from the Q-tips. The rest of the alcohol was used after a few jumps & the butt-whoopin came when you finally went inside later that night looking like you’d been in a bear fight and it was found that you’d ruined a half salvageable piece of plywood your dad was saving for something and you’d left the water hose running wasting water.

Good old monkey blood?

Somebody should start a thread describing all the reasons why none of us should be alive based on today’s standards.

I would, but I’m already gone from the no helmet, knee/elbow pads stuff. I’m just the ghost of all of y’all’s never shared escapades.

Riding in the family car road yacht, no seat belts, seeing how many kids would fit in the back windshield area.

…..and Mercurochrome. Lol. Those were the days. You don’t see kids out playing anymore. Creating their own fun and just being kids. Now they’re glued to Ipads and Playstations. You don’t even see army men in stores anymore. If you had a collection of marbles, you were somebody. Gosh, I could go on all day. Those days are gone and sorely missed. I feel privileged.

Wasn’t anything to do inside, only had 3 channels and Saturday morning cartoons was only thing to watch.  Sandlot sports, “hunting” with the BB gun, good times.

Who was the ‘big man’ that could climb all the way to the top of the tallest tree in the neighborhood. (No matter who’s yard it might be in.)

Fighting each other on the way up for handholds, sweat dripping on those suckers below…

That was MY spot. Another thing you had to gauge by the sun. Lmao

No A/C in the car. We had good airflow in the truck bed with no tailgate, feet swinging.

Neighbor had some tallows that were easy to climb. Climbed them all the time. Step across my street and you were on the Jr. High campus. Had an oak tree that was a leaner. You could almost run up it to the first limb. Campus was our playground….football, basketball, tennis. It wasn’t fenced off. Good times. Brings back old memories, which is all that life is….a collection of memories.

Out of likes, definitely a good era to grow up.  Certainly glad no one had a cell phone in my youth. 🙂

Safe to assume none of us went to Harvard. Oddly enough, I do have two degrees though. Engineering & BSBM.

Must have gotten the urge from building the skateboard & ramps & conning my buddies into jumping also.

Congrats. I’m a Lamar dropout after 4 semesters. Long story. Harvard wasn’t my cup of tea then and surely not today. These protests would have been allowed back then. We would have kicked their asses out of the way to get to the classes we paid hard earned money to take.

No matter your family’s economic, ethnic, religious background, we were all privileged to grow up in the lost era of humankind.

Remember collecting glass coke bottles that you found in a ditch or out of somebody’s trash or just laying on the side of the road to turn in for some change to buy some Penny candy?
