Master T Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 What happen tonight with HJ and is ST. Thomas that good. Come on somebody give me some updates on how this game went
KFDM COOP Posted January 2, 2008 Author Report Posted January 2, 2008 The HJ fans will have info soon!
Lazeek Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 St Thomas is very good. They have a 6'7 275 pound center that has signed to play at SHSU. THey have another 6'4 guard who is being looked at by several big schools as well. The big kid is very solid and likes to play with his abck to the basket. HJ was down by 7 and clawed their way back and took the lead with about 2 to go. Too many bad shots late really hurt the Hawks.....HJ is finally glad that their are no more games in between them and their rival Silsbee....better get their early Friday!!!!!
HNIC Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 What happen tonight with HJ and is ST. Thomas that good. Come on somebody give me some updates on how this game wentwow. where to begin... st. thomas is a great ball team. their #25 is rediculous. we came out tough early, and played them a good game all the way through. can't complain. and colby almost made a 3 with a second left- talk about a nail-biter. the hecklers were in full force but at the end of the night you just have to give props to st. thomas. they got skill.
Guest nostradamus Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 St. Thomas lost to Cy-Springs by 4 points (lead the whole game)-Cy-Springs beat the #2 team in the nation in the Texas vs. The Nation tournament last week.
BIGMO44 Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 Dang, wish I could have made this one...Good game HJ
PoppaBearstarr Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 St. thomas is a very large school with a lot of good athletes, they just went on a good run in the 4th take the lead and we needed more time to overcome it. The St Thomas coach is an HJ alum so I was glad someone from HJ got a win last night....
hawkdad Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 The big guy for St. Thomas is the real deal. I think last nites game is going to be a blessing for the Hawks in the long run. To face a team with that many threats (speed and size) and hang as tuff as they did should make all Hawk fans proud. Chappel Hill was very quick but that big guy from St. Thomas was a force. And like all Hawk games, they were in it till the end. Hawks, Good Luck Friday Nite.
