LC-M To Get Big Screen With Scoreboard

Looks like LC-M has voted to get the big screen like they have in Lufkin along with a new scoreboard. The big screen will be a first in this area. They are nice if you've ever been to Lufkin HS for a game. The screen will show the replays, Crowds, Bands, etc..

Why do they need a big screen for replays...oh I guess it will show the replays of the visiting teams.

Maybe they'll actually have a highlight this year. Perhaps two? This is really cool for them, but for such an abysmal team to have an ultra-expensive method of showing "highlights" - which are few and far, far between - seems a bit crazy.

Next time i speak with Coach Moody i'll ask him about Field Turf. I know the new Turf is about 600,000 and the big screen is that or even more.

I believe the big Jumbo Screen is a little less. Geez, i would put the new field turf down if i had that kind of money first.

The LCM scoreboard was paid for by local business ads. Cost between $120,000 and $140,000

How big is the screen going to be? The one in Lufkin was 400,000 according to folks there. Glad to see someone in the area finally getting one. Wish we had more turf fields though.
