Guest JoesBros Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 Ill hit the pitching in a different post. Im kicking off the preseason talk with the offense first
Pirate88 Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 The Astros offense should be much improved, not many weak spots in that line-up. We just need some arms to go along with those bats.
mccktown Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 ;D no pitching around this lineup no matter how you put them this should be fun to watch now it the pitching staff can just keep the other guys from scoring a ton should be lots of wins in store for this year.
Guest astrosfan75956 Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 the lineup is good but not great, our pitching after Oswalt is terrible!

Im having a hard time believing that Berkman will not be hitting in the 3 hole. I know all the projected lineups have him in the 4 hole, but why don't you want the best hitter on the club to hit 3 hole? Me personally i think i would drop Tejada to the 5 hole. Maybe im way off, i just see it being better with Berkman in the 3 spot. There sure is ALOT more speed at the top of the order now and thats great to see
