C.E. King girls 50, Barbers Hill 31

The Lady Eagles were unable to avenge their only district loss this season as they fell to C.E. King Tuesday night. C.E. King trailed 22-14 at the half and rallied with a strong second half outscoring Barbers Hill 36 to nine.

“We were 14 of 49 from the field tonight,” Barbers Hill assistant coach Hannah Wells said. “We couldn’t throw it in the ocean.”

Shannon Mudd led Barbers Hill in scoring with nine and Jasmine Carter added eight it fell to 3-3 in district play and 18-8 overall. The Lady Eagles will be on the road against Galena Park on Friday.
