Guest A-TOWN Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 Kountze wins District with one loss to Hardin
KHSAlum400 Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 My prediction is that Kountze will win by more than 10 points. I believe Kountze took them for granted in their first game, along w/ playing in Hardin. If you look at the current Kountze team compared to back in December, you will see that they're very different teams. In other words.....THEY'VE FOUND THEIR SWAGGER! Â ;D
Guest A-TOWN Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 I was worried at first, but Kountze has gotten better from December
whsalum Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 Kountze will get the calls at home to control the tempo and win this one going away.Hardin will have to take care of business to force a playoff for seeding.I think they have EC and Deweyville at Hardin in the second half which should help.
Bucof2010 Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 At this point I think Kountze will make a clean sweep for the rest of district with hardins only loss coming from kountze and e.c. only losing 2 to hardin and kountze which will make the district kountze hardin e.c.
highsky Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 At this point I think Kountze will make a clean sweep for the rest of district with hardins only loss coming from kountze and e.c. only losing 2 to hardin and kountze which will make the district kountze hardin e.c. not sure if you meant to say that those three teams will be the playoff teams or that is the 1-2-3 order of finish (if this is the case, then Kountze and Hardin would be tied for first.)
OldSkool97 Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 My pick is Hardin by 6.. Top 3 at end of season: 1. Hardin 2. Kountze 3. E.C.
SPORTSMAN Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 Kountze will win by 10. If Hardin has a chance they need to bring their A game and then some. Good luck to both teams.
whsalum Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 Nothing against Hardin but they will really have to stay focused to force a playoff with Kountze.Regardless of district records the teams from top to bottom are closer than some folks think.Deweyville,Anahuac and Warren are all capable of shaking up the standings. In the first Kountze game the Lions didn't shoot ft's or the 3 ball at all.I think that changes tonight.
footballfan5261 Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 thats correct in the first game Kountze couldnt make a shot for their life.. but tonight was a different story. played KOUNTZE basketball tonight and the scoreboard showed it. Kountze shouldnt have overlooked hardin the first time.
