Your program's coaching stability

We always hear a lot about coaches on the move.

I'm curious about achieving programs with the most stability. Which programs promote from within when the time comes? Which coaching staffs have the most continuity w/o bringing in someone from the outside?

The AD at Dayton has been here for 12 years--most of his staff as well--------no doubt it is a tremendous benefit

Same thing with Ned, Neumann's starting number 15 this coming year, and the coordinators have been there over 10, in Spell's case, over 25.

Stability is the only way to get a program going in the right direction.  Need a quality HC and assistants that believe and will inplement want he wants done on all levels.  Cannot do one thing at the JH and another at the HS.

Newton probly has one of the most stable programs in the history of the world im guessin. Barbay has been there since before my 36 year old dad was playing H.S. football

Exactly, It starts in JH. I ain't no coach but, programs that start with JH kids seem to be alot more successful. From what I understand Stephenville has JH football A,B,C, & D teams and sometimes more. They involve as many kids as they can in their program. They have had a little success in the past and are always contenders.
