Guest abovetherim Posted January 23, 2008 Report Posted January 23, 2008 Just for some clarification. I was told by my wife a few people didn't remember Kara Audry (Broussard) when she was at the SHSU game last week. Well, just so you guys know Kara holds the Lamar record for a single game in rebounds at 28. This is good enough for a tie for 5 place all-time on the DI level. She grabbed 28 rbs versus McNeese State in 1984 and she is in the Lamar University Hall of Honor. I spoke with her about coming tomorrow night but her daughter and son are both playing at the High School level in Beaumont. She will not be able to attend tomorrow's game but she will make a few in the the near future. She is proud of the Lady Cardinal basketball team and has spoke to several members of the current Lady Cardinals team. She is excited about what the future holds for the Ladies program!
Cat22 Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 Get out and support the ladies tonight!!
weslinder Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 I plan to, but because I'm a fan, not because I expect a good game. UCA is worse than Sam Houston. It could get really out of hand.
