HJ @ Vidor girls and boys game for tonight have been postponed until Monday.

This information is coming from the Vidor coach.

I am not sure why - I am assuming it is because of the weather.

I also know that a lot of the kids have been sick.  My son is one of them.  We were not going to let him play tonight.

Vidor vs Hj postponed due to the weather and field condition. The game will be played Monday 5:00 for girls and 7:00 for boys. come support the pirates.

your son is a better kid than i was... if my mom had told me i was too sick to play, i would've laughed at her.  good news for him that he'll get to play anyway.

Actually had it have been a more critical game for the Pirates - we might have thought more about our decision.  Either way - worked out OK - he should be ready to play on Monday.  We just didn't want to take a chance on his health.  We didn't think he would be 100% had he played tonight.
