KFDM COOP Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 Who will be the top Soccer Teams next season?
Bread Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 im gunna go with Vidor, Png, Nederland, Lumberton for district 22-4A, west brook is usually good in 5a
setxsoccer Posted August 21, 2006 Report Posted August 21, 2006 Vidor will not come in first in a ten team district. They lost to many players for the new coach. PNG lost a ton of players also but they always have more coming up. Nederland will be a strong team again. Lumberton is going to cause some problems for some teams. LCM is going to be better than last year. Central is the dark horse of this district, good players and they have a new coach. WOS and Ozen please keep trying HJ and Silsbee (dont know enough about them)
Bread Posted August 21, 2006 Report Posted August 21, 2006 I somewhat agree with you, the top 4 teams will be Vidor, PNG, Nederland, and Central in my opinion, and at this point nobody can make a really valid prediction as to who is going to be where.....
setxsoccer Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 anybody can make a valid prediction at this point, its just ones opinion...
soccer.tx Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 I think there will be a few upsets...some teams have too many hot headed players.
setxsoccer Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 Here are my predictions Nederland PNG will have the top two spots, 3rd place is going to be tough no chance will be WOS, Ozen, HJ, Silsbee so that leaves Central, LCM, Vidor and Lumberton to fight over 3rd
setxsoccer Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 They are but only three teams will be playoff bound and with a ten team district decent wont cut it
soccer.tx Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 I am going out on a limb to say that Nederland is not a solid 100% 1st or 2nd place contender this year. Their true sophomore team from last year, is not as strong as we have seen in years past. Which players are feeding into a varsity program are just as important as those who remain from a previous season. Not to mention how they will play together as a team.
soccer.tx Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 Well, they went through a rebuilding period, lost some momentum under Davis, but looked great last year. I guess it will hinge on how the new varsity players mesh with the returning varsity.
setxsoccer Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 young team, but they do have some talent it will interesting to see what Wedel can do with them i think they make a strong run at the playoffs
Bread Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 LCM has some good returning varsity members but they lost most of their core players last year..... same with PNG/Nederland/Vidor/Lumberton... my prediction is this.... Vidor, Nederland, PNG and how they fare is going to determine the order....
soccer.tx Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 just because someone is a senior does not always mean they are a core player.
Bread Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 i know that, but most of these schools seniors were the core players....
LC-MSOCCER Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 I wouldn't get my hopes up if i were yall...lcm is looking pretty good this year. we only had two or three "core players" graduate, so we arent missing too much. Just giving yall the heads up...get ready for us.
KFDM COOP Posted August 23, 2006 Author Report Posted August 23, 2006 I had heard LCM was going to be pretty good as well..
LC-MSOCCER Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 this year and next year are probably gonna be our strongest year
LC-MSOCCER Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 i hope vidor doesnt think they will take district...the lost the two best forwards they've ever had
KFDM COOP Posted August 23, 2006 Author Report Posted August 23, 2006 Should be a good district though!
