Coachacola, you are the best I know about finding stuff like this. I'm be through with my masters before all these project are done but it is still exciting to see the future growth of the campus. I'm surprised that Cardinal Village Phase 5 will not be done till 2010. I heard they are building that phase for "a athletic dorm". Guess my information was not correct.

Again, thanks for your support here and posting valuable information like this. You are awesome!

Vincent-Beck is scheduled for $5 million of renovations in 2013.  I totaled up all the projects scheduled between now and 2013 and it comes to over $161 million.  That's a lot of money, and that doesn't count any extra money from private donations that will be spent on Cardinal Stadium above what was approved by the regents.  Hopefully renovations to the Montagne Center and a new practice facility won't be far behind.

As I remember it, these are the plans:

The Childcare place will be rebuilt across the street, and the Soccer field will be built in its place, just east of Vincent-Beck.  The Softball field will be built just west of Vincent-Beck.

I have also heard, less officially, but more recently, that the soccer field will be built across the street between Brooks-Shivers and the John Gray Center.

In seven to ten years people will not recognize the campus at Lamar University. Heck a lot of people who graduated in the 80's or before don't now. Thanks for the above information coachacola. Matter of fact, thanks to all you guys for posting information on here. It is becoming a very informative site and it's because of you guys!  ;)
