It's called sampling the population. I saw the reporter and KFDM van near the Chemistry department. If she walked into the Setzer Center and talked to those people she would have got different replies. I saw her interview a young lady and I doubt she could tell you the positions on a football team. I'd consider the sources.  ::) Plus, there was many more students voting inside the Setzer Center than by the Chemistry Dept.

Now, this is the great thing about the freedoms we enjoy in the USA. Those not in favor of football have just as much right to their opinion as those of us who vote in favor of the referendum.

Edit: I just finished watching both KFDM and KBTV. I stand corrected the news reporter for channel 6 did indeed interview some of the folks in the Setzer Center. Then KBTV had a news reporter at the dinning hall and her report had a much different tone and said the student body appears supportive of a sports fee. Then James Ware interviewed Coach Tubbs in studio and he appeared excited but stated "It's kind of like a basketball game, it's not over yet". He mentioned he hopes students don't take it for granted it will pass.

Personally, I'm doing all I can to persuade students, friends, classmates to vote for the referendum. Including myself, I know of 12 relatives or friends who have or will tomorrow vote for the referendum.

Just wanted to clear up my assumption. If I'm wrong, 9 out of 10 times I'll be the first to admit it. In this case, I was wrong about the reporter from my personal favorite TV station for news, weather and sports KFDM.  She did a good job of interviewing more than a couple people.
