Brittney is very focused and determined to make it the best season of her career and that could be the catalyst for the Lady Cardinals in their climb to the top. Williams shares her thoughts on basketball, education, leadership, and life in general. LC: Being tabbed as a Pre-Season First Team All Southland Conference performer, how has that inspired you and your work-out program? BW: It's inspired me to work even harder in trimming down and conditioning, which would allow me to lead my team and me to another level. LC: Coach Tidwell calls you his "Power in the Paint", explain. BW: Due to my ability to rebound and score using my craftiness despite my size LC: What was your most memorable game last year? BW: SFA, the first conference road game, in which I had 20-points and 12 rebounds. LC: If a person got to know you really well, what one thing would surprise them the most? BW: How friendly and humble of a person I am. LC: Being a native of Louisiana, give us your favorite Cajun food and who cooks it for you? BW: Gumbo, my grandmother "Ma Ma" LC: What are your favorite music style and your favorite singer? BW: R&B and my favorite group is Mint Condition. LC: Do you have a hidden talent that most people do not know about? BW: My outside game. The fact that I am capable of shooting the 3! LC: What is your most prized possession and why? BW: My IPOD because my music keeps my mind focused and mellow. LC: Your twin sister, Tweet, starts at point guard for Southland Conference rival Northwestern State. How does the family handle game day when you play each other? BW: My father sits in the middle and cheers for both of us and my mother wears half Northwestern colors and half Lamar colors to support both teams. LC: What are your first impressions on the changes being made to Lady Cardinal Basketball under first year Head Coach Larry Tidwell?
