Lamar Moves Up In National Track Rankings

In the first regular-season poll of the 2008 season, the Lamar University men’s and women’s teams were ranked 41st and 61st in the indoor track and field rankings released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

The Cardinals men’s team moved up 32 spots from their No. 73 ranking in the preseason poll, while the women’s team is making their first appearance after not being ranked before the season began.
